About Projects

As time goes on, I notice that my work is becoming increasingly project-based, both in terms of the subject matter and the final product. I find that concentrating on a specific project enhances my creative process and brings a sense of satisfaction as each project reaches completion. Additionally, I tend to gravitate towards creating small, hand-held artifacts, such as chapbooks and folios, as well as digital media like ePublications in the form of downloadable PDF files. These forms of artwork and media are enjoyable to handle and view, easy to store and distribute, and do not require valuable wall space to appreciate.

Journal

My latest ongoing project is the publication of The J. Day Journal, a periodic image journal showcasing my photography. The Journal is presented as an anthology-style PDF that you can download for free and view on your computer, tablet, phone, or other devices.

My goal is to publish new editions of the Journal on a bi-monthly basis, but this may vary depending on the availability of project images and my Muse’s creativity.

Chapbooks

I anticipate producing a series of chapbooks – small hand-held artist books – in conjunction with select image essays from The J. Day Journal.

Folios

I anticipate producing additional folios – a collection of unbound printed images and text pages presented in a fine art paper enclosure – in conjunction with select image essays from The J. Day Journal.
